HAZET-WERK, the German tool manufacturer from Remscheid demands high standards
offering a large range of hand tools and of special tools of highest quality,
which are especially suitable for the automotive engineering. What matters is
the tool's quality - this can be verified by every-day's work where good work
results are required. For a long time HAZET-Quality is a guarantee for good work
results. Hermann Zerver established the company in 1868. The products are marked
by the brand HAZET that has its roots in the initials of the founder, the H of
Hermann and the Z of Zerver. This brand is part of the company's name "HAZET-WERK",
being an equivalent of quality; a manufacturer's mark the clients can rely on.
Until now the company has passed 130 eventful years and the future is lying

The main plant I at Remscheid is one of the most advanced tool manufacturing plant in Europe. Traditional processing equipment like the forging hammer is standing next to modern CNC-directed machinery. The harmonic combination of different techniques is the basic for the high quality of the products, which cannot be achieved by mere technology. The know-how of the experienced staff of many years' standing gives the reason for lead in quality. At Remscheid, HAZET mainly fabricates hammer-forged products. The first processing equipment in Heinsberg was built up in the sixties. Today the subsidiary plant disposes of the most advanced production lines for the manufacturing of rotationally symmetrical tool products. In 1984, a new modern factory was opened at this place, planned according to the newest ergonomic standards and set up "in the open countryside" offering opportunities that were not possible in the location of the main plant. The excellent and convenient central position in the triangle of Germany - Belgium - Netherlands induced the company to set up the central warehouse of the HAZET-group. The warehouse and shipping department comprises almost 4.000 square meters, which enables the company to meet the demands of clients in Germany and abroad. EAN codes are taken for granted; they offer a service that helps the client to handle his logistic and goods systems. At the beginning of 2001, the HAZET Plant III at Remscheid was equipped with one of the most modern computer-controlled powder coating facilities of Germany. Furthermore, investments in a welding robot as well as in a fully automatic laser cutting facility guarantee the continuous top quality in sheet metal working. The product range comprises varied sheet metal working processes as well as the fabrication of the famous tool trolleys "Assistent" and the PUR foam and plastic injection molded parts. The high production variety and the possibility of manufacturing more than 80% of the products provide the HAZET-group with independence concerning the production as well as the product development. It goes without saying that the group's emphasis on high quality received its confirmation. In 1993, the HAZET-plants Remscheid and Heinsberg as well as the former subsidiary company Windgassen + Hindrichs (today's plant III) in 1994 achieved the certification according to DIN EN ISO 9001. The same goes for the central administration department in plant I at Remscheid where "Quality is the highest maxime". Therefore the client can always be sure that he has chosen the right tool.
Offering a range of almost 4000 different products, HAZET offers variety. This high number of products is due to the wealth of special tools that are manufactured for the industrial and automotive sector. The well-known HAZET-hand tools, products that simplify or even enable "hand-crafts", constitute the base of the product range. These are for instance screwdrivers, pliers, open-end wrenches and box wrenches. Today, this range is enlarged by bits, sockets and the high-precision torque wrenches. In addition to the production of standard and special tools, HAZET also offers general workshop equipment, above all the typical HAZET Rolling Tool and Repair Kit "Assistent", known by everyone who has already collected his car from the garage. All HAZET-products demand the same: being tough, efficient and functional working partners for professionals as well as for "amateurs with ambitions". The product development is effected in the company's developmental department. Experienced employees construct ergonomically shaped tools for every day's work/purpose. The development is effected according to the objectives of user-friendliness, fatigue-proof working and, of course, precise fit. These quality standards are applied to every tool manufactured: to the "simple" pliers and hammer as well as to the high-precision tools, e.g. the new Fine-Tooth Reversible Ratchets or the Torque Wrenches which repeatedly emerge victorious when tested by independent experts. In order to take into account the client's demands and the specific demands of the tools, HAZET only uses high-quality material for the tool production, i.e. best alloyed steel and often Chrome-Vanadium-Steel. The experience of the employees as well as the use of modern technique facilitates a smooth course of manufacture with constant high quality. Most tools have a surface finish made of nickel-chromium. But also modern coating materials such as coatings according to the CVD process are used. This ensures a user-friendly surface, suitable for every day's work and extremely durable. These are the causes why HAZET products are so successful and enjoy an excellent reputation.
Offering a great range of standard and special tools as well as compatible workshop equipment and last but not least the well-tried tool trolleys, HAZET belongs to the established suppliers of the industrial trade, industry and automotive industry as well as garages. The range includes products from A to Z, from Allen Keys to Zinc Coated Screwdrivers. HAZET tools are used wherever reliable screwed connections and professional working are needed. Other important characteristics of a modern company are innovations in the production, communication and merchandising. HAZET proves its diversified capability: communication through the Internet or the supply of informative and high quality catalogues, price-lists, brochures and merchandising articles. Concerning the products as well as the customer-orientation, the main objective always is the satisfaction of the client.
